DOCUMENTATION AND DOSING SYSTEM FOR METHADONE AND SUBUTEX (BUPRENORPHINE)

MeDoSys® is an automatic IT-based comprehensive system for dosing and dispensing methadone and documenting the administration of buprenorphine tablets. It has been designed to manage the large-scale opioid substitution treatment of drug users primarily in treatment centers, hospitals, clinics and prison settings.
MeDoSys® focuses on three basic requirements:
  • safe handling of methadone / burprenorphine
  • efficiently managing and accurately dispensing to a large number of patients
  • requiring less medical staff
The system is used in more than 220 treatment centers and 30 prisons in Germany alone as well as in other European countries like Bosnia, Austria and Spain. The system also is applied in Nepal, Malaysia, Mauritius e.g. In Germany alone, as many as 18000 patients per day are treated via MeDoSys®.
